  At a very early age I was diagnosed with emotional problems, by my teens I was given the OCD / Depression label, by my 30s I was told I had neurological problems as well. For over 20 years seeing what is probably now 100's of doctors of all fields. Going through Therapy, having neurological examinations, seeking naturalistic treatments combine with some of the most expensive medical treatments out there. Nothing ever truly worked for me. At times the medication would at best "take the edge off" but I never felt good, I never felt alive. The real problem was all those doctors were simply treating my symptoms, and not looking for the cause of them.
  
  It took me 20 years to find Dr Jensen. By the time I had my first appointment with him I was on a massive amount of Benzodiazepine's as well as several other medications. This cocktail of poison was just getting me by day to day, but I had no quality of life. I was taking so much klonopin at the time a pharmacist once refused to fill it because in her words "This has to be a mistake" .
  
  Dr. Jensen listened to my problems, he didn't judge, he understood I was not a medication abuser, and that I did not even want to take meds at all. He asked me about my personal and medical history, and then he went to work. He ran a series of blood tests and genetic tests and for the first time actually looked for a physical reason for my problems. Not only did he find a fairly uncommon and easily treatable genetic distorter that was the cause of most. if not all of my problems. He also determined that my immune system was being burdened because of that same disorder and that I had things like Mumps and Measles that were not fully active but still wreaking havoc with my mind and body. He then took a very aggressive medical approach to straighten my immune system out, and get me started on treatment for the genetic problem. After 20 years of being sick, I actually started to pull out of it, the mental problems, physical problems, as well as the neurological ones slowly started to ease up. After about 10 months I realized what It actually felt like to be alive, to be happy, and to be a human being. Dr Jensen not only diagnosed something every other Dr.and Specialist in my life missed, but he was kind and understanding and helpful, he is a smart man, he gives good advise, and he truly wants to help.
  
  After about 2 years I was completely off of every medication and none of my symptoms have returned. This was in 2008. So as you can see I have not been a patient of Dr. Jensen for a good amount of time now. I have not even seen him close to a decade, but all this time later I still find him in my thoughts, and think of how lucky I truly am to have met this man. Dr Jensen gave me my life back, and I will always be grateful to him for his kindness, his compassion, and his willingness to work hard and think outside the box to help his patients.
